Chamois on the ridge

During a walk on the Grand Chamossaire this morning we came across many caterpillar nests like this one. I wonder what they will turn in to. Some of the caterpillars were moving about a lot in the nest whereas others seemed tightly wrapped up in the nest. (See extra). We were also thrilled to see this wonderful chamois.
