Ad's Dad died 6 weeks before lockdown. We count our blessings that we're not going through that while we are going through this. But at 71 his mum has been isolating through this and that would be hard enough. But is obviously harder due to the months that preceeded this. 

We took the decision that a park wouldn't be wise, but that staying 2 metres away from her in her garden, entering around the side of the house and not through the house, taking our own chairs, and our own drinks would be OK enough. It rained. But the sun  did appear for some of our visit. 

Sometimes, its the bits that are almost normal, but not normal, which are harder than the completely abnormal.
