Woodworm?

Beautiful day's stroll - usual place!! It was lovely and sunny. Just lifted your spirits.

I was struck by the simplicity of the single ivy strand making it's way up this tree and the shadows created by each leaf. Then I also noticed the the woodworm in the cleave in the trunk.
