New toy
I had toyed with the idea of getting a new iPhone. Then came up with the much better and cheaper idea of getting a new lens from eBay. This my first play with it. It would have been a better composition if I had all the reflection of the Grebe from the water.
The forest was very busy again today. I walked to keep away from everyone by going down the Gritstone and still saw quite a few people. Apparently they were queuing to get to park by Ridgegate.
The Grebe's nest has become loose and moved quite a way away. The grebe was calling out in a way that I had never heard before. Maybe she is sad. On blowing up the photo of the eggs on the nest that has moved, it looks like one has been opened and eaten, which is a bit sad.
The children both said that they wanted to go back to school now and that they had thought lockdown would be brilliant, but it was actually quite boring. Has this given them both a new appreciation of normality?
I am still quite wobbly. I both dread and am desperate for the end of lockdown. I'll have to make some proper decisions about what to do next once it ends.
