Well.....

..... this is what happened today.

Supermarket first thing.

Then when I came home, my husband wanted a hand with 3 of our bedroom windows.  He'd cleaned them a couple of weeks ago, but now wanted to replace the insect screens.

'It wont take long,' he said, famous last words.

The windows are big and very heavy.  You have to take one out, before you can get the screen out.

The first one was going okay, until he realized the spline he bought was the wrong size.  So he had to use the old stuff.

Then as he's cutting the screen netting, he cuts it in the wrong place!!

Moving onto the next room.  Everything went well, until the blinds wouldn't move.  In the end we had to take them down.  We know what's wrong but we can't fix it without help.

Finally onto the last window.  We just about had enough netting for this one.

It took us 5 hours to do 3 windows!!

I just hope he doesn't intend doing any other windows.  (Because there are a lot of them.)
