Away in a Manger

The rain was coming down in stair rods, what to blip? I went out of the village to where I knew there was a makeshift cattle manger in the hope that the cattle were peckish of seeking a little shelter in lea of the wall, I was heartened to the bulls head peeping over the wall but when I got closer the calves were also over snuggled together against the elements.

This little chap had the brains to be in the middle of the three and was the most protected and looked at me as if to say "You idiot" he is cute nonetheless!!!!!
