Flood meadows
Today was mostly gloomy and I frittered a lot of it away. But the sun came out late afternoon so I went for a lovely walk up the river. I couldn’t cross these fields at the start of lockdown, they were under water. Now they’re a riot of buttercups.
Extra pic is close up of one of the peony flowers I picked - fascinating how the color changes (see 10 May) so that was one of my frittering activities.
