Blowin’ in the Wind

So every now and then, we have to take Grandma to the health clinic for blood tests. They come out and do it on the parking lot. Then we usually go for a small drive, because we’re already in the car. Mum wears a mask and gloves to protect Grandma.

Today we went on the outing we SHOULD have gone on yesterday. And it was fab! We needed eggs, so we went to the sourdough bakery where they sell eggs in a self-service outdoor facility/shed. This involves a lovely drive through the countryside and the beautiful spring landscape, past Grandma’s old home. She enjoyed that! 

It was cold and windy at the sourdough bakery. We didn’t go inside, obviously, but me and mum went for a short walk, and Grandma sat it the car and watched us. She had brought me a homemade meatball that she gave me! A special picnic! We were so happy, all three of us, to be together for an outing again.
