It was the first time I had seen Manchester United's summer signing, Robin Van Persie. It does feel strange cheering on the former Arsenal man but he has made a fantastic start to his United career and is a big reason we are currently sitting pretty at the top of the league. Tonight is was Rooney's turn to take centre stage, scoring twice in a 2-1 victory over Southampton.
