Winging it

Whilst I potted on the cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers and geraniums this morning, JJ made his first ever batch of scones.  Somewhere along the way he got rid of the air needed to make them rise, but we've had one each with afternoon tea (and strawberry jam and Cornish clotted cream) and they tasted fine.  He'll know not to be so heavy-handed next time.

It's been cooler than expected and the sunchairs soon came indoors again, but the bees are happily buzzing around the flowers.
