Outing
I've missed running down the Monk's Rig, so identified a longer outing into the hills that would incorporate it. However, I felt too lethargic to go all the way up to the Kips Col against the wind, just to run back down the Monk's Rig. I kept relatively low, and found a new route over to Ninemileburn. From there, I gradually climbed up via decent tracks, and then had the wind behind me over Green Law, the Kips and Scald Law. It was odd to have dull weather, and the brightest moment came when I was almost back to the A702 layby [pictured]. A couple of kilometres after that, Django started dropping back, so I gave up with the Garmin when I'd reached 19km, and we largely walked the 1.5 km home. Hopefully I'll feel the benefit next time!
