washington state presentation

The finished product! Tomorrow Ezra will give his presentation over Washington state. Over the last 5 days he has written, rewritten, colored, recolored, cut, taped, glue dotted, stapled, and attached...voilà!

The facts he will present:

Washington is located in the NW corner of the United States.
Olympia is the state capital.
The state is named after President George Washington...the only state to carry a president's name.
There are 5 active volcanos in Washington.
Mount Rainier is the tallest at over 14,000 feet above sea level.
Finally, Washington produces more apples than any other state!

We practiced once more before bedtime, and he nailed it!

p.s. Do you see the clock in the background? That was a wedding gift from my friend Stephanie. Shortly after this picture I put Ezra's poster board on the mantel, and the clock crashed to the ground! Broken. Very sad moment.
