Joining the dots

I had fewer meetings today so had a bit of room to read and catch up on some things that have been on the to do list for a while. It’s amazing how much better the day is when there is more breathing space. We even had time to finish the birthday video message for our friend after having had lunch together. I had a good catch up with my people manager this afternoon too and we reflected on what a tough time it’s been to step into my new role. We took a family walk before dinner - the golf course was busy with golfers, all of whom seemed to be keeping to the social distancing which was good to see and the weather was glorious. I completely forgot to take any pictures as we were too busy chatting. After dinner I had a chat with Mum and then watched some TV including a show on the history of Eurovision which brought back some memories! I’m looking forward to a lie in and some sunny weekend days now.
