Horse chestnuts

The horse chestnuts at Chobham rec were in full bloom when I was on my daily walk today. The natural world has certainly put on a great show this Spring, freed to great extent from the usual competition of cars, planes and the sheer noise of "normal" life. In the garden we've enjoyed watching blue tits making their home in the nesting box in our apple tree and will be looking our for their fledglings.
