Trailhead Parking

After yesterday's snow event, I decided to try snow shoeing in the sunshine and brand new snow. This is the trailhead at Black Canyon in the Sangre d Christos.

The snow on the mountains covered the hills and some of the snow looked good at a micro level on the needles of the pines.

Faith and I took off up the hill and did about three miles in a short time. The temperature was approximately 25F....brrr.
