This morning the dog walker took Xena out - not that I needed him to, but he is back working again since the easing of lockdown restrictions and I do feel the need to support him as it has been so tough on the small businesses such as his. Xena was delighted to see him again and she had a fun time with him - evidenced from the Whatsapp photos that came pinging through while he was out with her. It was also good for her to socialise with other dogs again.

I felt at a loss not walking her this morning, so I kept myself busy visiting an art exhibition and having coffee out with friends....I wish doing the laundry and going grocery shopping. These days I seem to time it right and the queue at the supermarket is never long. I was an enormous shop, as in a large trolley filled and a large expense!

I spent some time in the garden taking photos of flowers but in the end the red eyelashes did it for me and the flowers were forgotten!

Very exciting news today as my pregnant niece found out she is having a baby boy! I saw a video of her scan appointment this morning and it was lovely to see. I do hope I am able to go meet the baby when we can travel again.

Dinner tonight is a take away from the local Italian restaurant, yay! Although Tommy made a sweet and sour chicken for his lunch from scratch, and it was absolutely delicious so I would have been happy with that  for supper.
