Brief Encounter

Another encounter during an early morning walk. Quite close to the cottage I suddenly saw two deer under the hill on the road when approaching from behind the crest of the hill. So while I could see them, only my head was visible to them. I stopped, and lifted the camera on my eye level and started to take pictures. The sounds of the shutter alerted them to me, and they started to look towards me. After perhaps 20 seconds the one to the right decided to leave, and the other one followed. In total, a brief encounter of less than one minute.
