WILL IT OR WON'T IT

SURVIVE!.
We had it pruned rather drastically and it is looking so sad . Normally the leaves are a lovely olive green with a rich purple on the underside. The smaller bird's love hanging out there and we can see them hopping about enjoying the little berries from inside the lounge.  I am hoping that after the winter it will grow new leaves.
The extra picture is part of a birthday card done for my grand daughter who turns 18 tomorrow  .
