Missing - A Hug
Apart from the missing hug, the only person I have spoken to today is the check out lady at M&S this morning at 8 am. If this self distancing and isolation goes on for the next few months I may become a mute hermit. Like the small school children in Denmark I may have to learn to hug myself.
I trotted down to M&S as their doors opened this morning to buy some groceries and vegetables as a change from shopping in my small local Sainsbury’s. The sun was shining, the sky was blue, the traffic sparse and of the pedestrians, there were none.
With the goodies in the bag, it was straight home to make a vegetable stew which will last long enough for me not to have to think up different menus. I am a creature of habit and lazy with it.
The sunshine produced a rush of blood to my head allowing me to finally sweep up the patio wherein lay a goodly selection of leaves blown into corners and lain undisturbed for too long. The blood rush lasted long enough to do some ironing before it dissipated and a long coffee break was required.
All day I have been updating my I watch. It’s taken about 6 hours and counting. I hope that will fix the problem I had after updating my I phone overnight and finding I couldn’t locate the latter with my I watch this morning when it hid from me. This is a game my IPhone loves to play and which drives me crazy.
