Our lawn care specialist came today to start sorting our lawn of the leather jacket invasion. Apparently there are lots of lawns infected down here, including the golf club, helped by the fact we didn’t have any frosts over the winter so nothing was killed off - joy!

Photo today is a different kind of allium - an allium siculum dioscoridis  Which is so pretty. I’m loving these - I can’t remember where a planted them last autumn so it’s a surprise every time a new one opens.
