We Need Each Other

This sign is hanging by the main road and is so applicable for these challenging times. 
We had very sad news yesterday. A good friend, Gill, passed away unexpectedly on Monday. Her husband David called us yesterday. All we wanted to do was see him and hug him, but of course we couldn't, so we cried together on the phone. Thankfully his kids and young grandchildren arrived last night from back east, so he won't be alone. We'll have a visit with him as soon as he's ready. Physically distancing of course, no matter how tempting it will be to hug him. He will need his friends when his family has to go home. Fortunately all of them are working online just now and will be able to stay as long as necessary.
