Daughter & grandchildren: "comic book" effect

I absolutely love this transformation, which came from "Messenger - kids".  I'd like to make more in this style.  Generally all my photos have been what the camera saw, with only slight enhancements not major manipulation--but I will have to explore some of these more artistic effects.
