Newt

Blipper D very kindly donated some tadpoles and newts to MrRoly’s wildlife pond. The good news is that the tadpoles are thriving despite the magpies using the pond as their bath!

The newts have been a bit more evasive but the other night we definitely saw 3 of the 4 released into the pond. Tonight I just found one but I try not to disturb them too much so fingers crossed it’s not alone!

In other news, I actually left my bed, showered and dressed in time to watch Homes Under The Hammer downstairs. This is a big improvement on slobbing around in my PJs until lunchtime so I’ll take that as a win! Oh and we rearranged the living room furniture yet again meaning MrRoly had to finish* fixing the telly to the wall...

*he may have started months, possibly years, ago but his drill bit snapped in the hole so he abandoned the task!
