Goldfinch

Even with a telecoverter giving me a 650mm lens this had to be  cropped to death. But I’m very happy to have captured a relatively acceptable shot of an exceptionally pretty little bird.

In other news...
The man with the magic cable burying machine has postponed his visit until next week and thus the robot mowers won’t be operational until then. Gives me a few more days to fill holes and sort out a few more bits and pieces in the garden in readiness so perhaps its just as well.
