Save the bees!

Vivien found this poor soul on the spare room floor. Quite still but the right way up, so she suggested some sugar water to tackle the exhaustion.

So here's the bee getting stuck in. I watched it do this, take a walk around, clean its chops, come back for more, stretch its legs in all directions, have a little fly along the sill, think about it for a bit and then it was gone.

Ideally, it's two tablespoons of white granulated sugar (not demerera) mixed in one tablespoon of water in a spoon or a lid. Not too much water or the bee might drown. And don't leave sugar water outside afterwards as other bees may go for it rather than pollen, then the whole planet's in trouble.
