Lockdown Happy Place

She rediscovered her happy reading place today after a few weeks away from it. She's absolutely ploughing through the books. She's particularly enjoying some of the classics. She's finished both The Borrowers and The BFG today. She has a fun reading book and a comprehension book (as well as the school class book). Her comprehension books so far have included the first famous five, the Borrowers and something else that right now I can't remember and is driving me mad. She's picked Treasure Island for the next book! 

The afternoon had a clarinet lesson and lots of sewing for mummy, which she helped with. She did a big second bassoon practise while I did the parcel run. She was very delighted with some of what she did but was very frustrated that she couldn't record it sounding nice on her rubbish phone. When I got back, I fed her and we did skittles rainbows. She spent an extremely long time playing her Harry Potter game because I nodded off on the sofa. 

Ironically, the first day we can go for unlimited exercise we didn't get out for our daily exercise together at all!
