A gift?

I was delighted when Minkelina got into the picture while I was photographing the stuffed reindeer that came with yesterday's flowers, so you could see the relative sizes.  She seems to be saying "What's that thing doing on your chair?"

Today was Sarah's birthday, so we had another family Zoom to celebrate. We sang "happy birthday" to her. She lit her one candle, inserted into a lovely little cake from her fiance, made a wish, and blew it out, while we cheered.  And then she and Nick had dinner with meatballs he made from scratch.  It was fun, even though Manda and Andrew looked exhausted.
