one yard away from the place he was born
Good grief we run a pretty crazy ship at times. Yesterday as I was working at home with sick child in tow, I was advised that the #1 son's birthday gift had thankfully arrived. Sped to work, brought it back and last night realised that there was no instructions on how to put it together. Hmm, 10:15pm come on a bike with no pedals can't be that tricky. Eventually got it sussed, albeit stabbing the floor with an Opinel knife while trying to remove a piece of plastic I reckoned, should probably be removed. Thankfully it was the right move.
Today, after a not great day in the office, nae comment, back to make food set up for a birthday boy's gifts and contact family around the continent.
As for what else is going on, you thankfully only know the half of it.
A close shave, and one which we need to start again as eldest hits the terrible elevens in under a month?
So happy birthday chief! You are the best wee boy in the world and I love you.
