Carpenter Bees 1, Husband 0
Every spring the carpenter bees start boring holes in our deck and porch. After doing some research, my husband decided this year he would try filling the holes with aluminum foil. It seemed like an easy solution until he found little bits of aluminum foil pushed or pulled out of the holes less than one day later.
I remember that last year on a similar kind of day, I spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to get a shot of one of these guys in flight. Today, using the A7Riii and 100-400 lens with the super-fast focusing, it was actually much easier.
Our grocery delivery came very early this morning and we got most of what we ordered, including TOILET PAPER!, It seems that folks have finally stocked up enough to stop emptying the shelves of a variety of items and we have finally got everything we need at least for the time being.
