Fish

A weird, terribly sad day. At lunchtime I found out via Facebook that a friend and former colleague had died last night. Seems he'd been ill for a while and he and his wife had chosen to not let people know. I wasn't particularly close to him but had known him and his wife, separately and then together, for a long time. He was a lovely, talented, kind man, and he'll be greatly missed.

This fish was in a tank at the pub I went to after work. Drinks with a friend more precious than usual today.
