laughing at Daddy

Eve asked Daddy to model my woolly cardigan and was thoroughly delighted by the spectacle.

There was a questionnaire going round to ask your children about coronavirus. Here is what Eve (8) and Zeke (5) said:

What is Coronavirus?
E: I know what it is.  It’s a virus and it’s spreading very fast.
Z: Seriously?  It’s a thing where you have to be trapped in houses for a really long time. And it also means I can use the iPad.

Who is the prime minister?
E: Boris Johnson
Z: He’s the guy who tells everyone stuff.

Do you want to go back to school?
E: Nah.  Well a bit.  But not much.
Z: No

Who is the first person you are going to hug when lockdown ends?
E: Nanny and Grandad!
Z: Joseph and Cameron I think.

Where is the first place you want to go?
E: Nanny and Grandad’s
Z: Spring Harvest

What do you think we can do to get rid of the virus?
 E: Stay inside.
Z: Pray

Is Mummy a good teacher?
E: Uh-huh.
Z: NO! I mean yes.

If coronavirus was an animal what animal would it be?
E: A dog because I don’t like dogs.  Or a sheep but I don’t know why – oh, because they’re everywhere.
Z: A bug.  A giant bug that’s crawling round the world.

How did the Coronavirus start?
E: An animal I think.
Z: Kind of a bit of fun but then it got sad.
