Called out to Homebirth mum in early labour at 3am ( it was frosty) and back in bed by 06.00 but wrecked for the day . Don’t know how I used to do it full time !
Cold and overcast day until I walked the dog in the evening and then out came the sun and heat - just what I needed. This horse chestnut tree looks great with its candle flowers.
Checked on mum again this eve and slow progress is being made, everyone fine . Hope it will either stop or really get going for her. I expect the phone to go when I’m in my deepest sleep at some ungodly hour and can’t speak ! Mum’s doing her hypnobirthing really well , calm and smiling away, it’s always amazing to see in action . Will report back tomorrow on progress.
