Homeward Bound

Not seen my best friend for weeks , a time l really needed her and l know she has Suffered from feeling helpless.
All that changed today when under new guidelines she could drive over to see me, park outside and we could go for a walk and talk.
We kept apart by the regulatory 2 metres.
We went down to the river and then walked through a field before turning back towards my village on the old road.
If you look between the two trees on the right you might see the church spire on the edge of the village.
All too soon it was over and Elaine had to go home as under current restrictions she couldn’t come in for a cuppa or more importantly ( for ladies of our age: ) to use the loo!
