Departures

The joys of island life in the north. Meeting in Inverness today so 7.40 flight there via Kirkwall. Very windy so The flight was bouncing about and landing at Kirkwall was no pleasant. So windy in fact that passengers were not let off until a fire engine was called to shelter the exit. Baggage coming on at Kirkwall was blown off the luggage truck - get the idea? Multiply by four and my day was complete. Oh yes departure from Inverness delayed due to the inbound flight striking a flock of birds.
