Ashdale, Bassendean

A drive out today brought us to a nice little spot alongside the Swan River in Ashdale a suburb in Bassendean, we hadn't been here before and was surprised when we saw this little spot called 'Sandy Beach Reserve' another nice picnic spot gone down in our 'book of places to go', after our picnic lunch the walk through the bushland along the rivers edge was a tonic, just what we both needed.
