The Round House
Fluffy (not his real name) had to go to the vet this morning, to the animal hospital at Sydney Uni. The Vet Science Building is a gothic beauty from 1911, with towers and gargoyles and fancy gold lettering. The round house, actually octagonal, was used for observing cattle and horses and doesn’t seem to have changed from the 1920s. I like the hunting dog on the weathervane.
Fluffy came home with a bandaged paw, a course of antibiotics and a bad attitude.
