Rain

Food shopping day - another good trip to M&S food hall. A bit of gardening, a bit of admin, a few calls with family & friends including 2 in Thailand.

A sunny cold day so at 5pm I went out for a walk, didn’t check the forecast. The hail started about one mile in, then the rain & wind and it was so cold! I had a waterproof but was wearing jeans (urgh wet denim) and Skechers rather than proper trainers or boots. Three further miles of miserable walking.

Texted G to put the kettle on, limped home just after 6 - cold, drookit, 2 blisters .... a cup of tea so welcome!

Lessons learned - check the forecast, always wear proper walking shoes.
