Day Forty-nine; Encouragement

Today is the last day of the Level 3 Lockdown, and from midnight there will be much more free movement. Large gatherings (more than 10) are not permitted. There are more restrictions than had been previously flagged, in an attempt to avoid large anonymous crowds in small spaces, as not only will that increase the chance of major transmission if someone is infectious, there will be much less chance of contact tracing posing a serious risk of a major outbreak.

Meanwhile, an advertising spot on the corner of Great North and Ponsonby Roads is continuing to give encouraging messages to the residents of Arch Hill.
