Science engagement in action

I've been laughing at the "intelligent design" movement for years now, but apparently it is a real problem in some parts of US. Some people think that religion and science are rivals and if you are a believer you just have to give up all the reason.

Well I work in a science center and that makes me a science clergyman, I try to convert people to believe in science. I start explaining kids that there is such a force called gravity and when they get older we talk about some serious stuff such as biochemistry, nanotechnology and evolution. Ha! Sorry but I still laugh at "ID".

The seminar itself was quite interesting, but there were moments when I felt as enthusiastic as Dr. Alan I. Leshner.
