New girl on the block

Overall the weather was lovely today. It was considerably milder, it stayed dry and it was quite sunny as well. Just a shame that there was such a bloody awful very annoying strong wind that made it feel chillier than it was. This wind also made it impossible to get any good photos at the park, unless blurry shots were just what you were looking for.

Fortunately I took a few photos of Cherly, the dog that I walked this afternoon, so I thought I'd blip one of these and introduce her to you. Cherly's a Rottweiler-German Shepherd dog cross and the latest arrival at the sanctuary. She's 8 months old and still quite playful. Unlike Tao, the Staffordshire that I walked yesterday afternoon who avoided every puddle and kept walking around them, Cherly seems to enjoy them and she walked straight through them.

Perhaps I could have cropped my shadow out of the photos but I rather like it as it is.

I had one of two ideas for a blip during my walk with Cherly this afternoon but I've no idea whether I'll be able to take a good enough photo as we're forecast the same strong wind for several more days.
