Birdwatchers

Ducky, Grouch and I spent most of the day waiting for the hummingbird to appear at the feeder. I vowed this morning my blip for the day would be a hummer. I was determined! All day I stared at that feeder, while vacuuming, when cleaning the peony bed, while making dinner salads...I was obsessed! I even cleaned the feeder in hopes it would draw one near. I batted zero all day. Ultimately, I decided to point my attention to the ones who are always by my side, chattering at the birds, watching them fly to and fro. Today, I honor my dedicated fellow birders, two of my felines, my two 10-year-old boys, Ducky (pictured) and Grouch (ears only).
