Horse Chestnut Candle.

Today has followed the usual routine of Chloe walking, cleaning, cooking, eating and playing Scrabble. I also finished clearing out our gutters, a task I dislike and am glad to have done and dusted for the year.
We have also spoken with all the family via FaceTime.
While out this evening - after the rain - we passed this lovely chestnut tree which is just reached full leaf and full flower.
The month of May is possibly my favourite month but we cannot really get out and about to enjoy it. Can we just write this year off and start from scratch in January 2021?
