Bromeliad

A warm rainy day and not much exciting around the office. Interior plant folks were changing out the plants and using Bromeliads. Some of the more interesting sides of practicing Landscape Architecture in SE Asia are having a 12 month growing season and using plants like these as ground covers instead of house plants. One of the less interesting is having to go into the jungle to find plants. Not many nurseries. Usually a nursery is set up near the project as a part of the work scope.
