The bog cotton on Glasson Moss is still looking great and probably now just starting to go over.  Many photos were taken on our walk there this morning, so just had to be the subject of today's blip.  Its quite rare to meet other people there and today I saw 7 people!!  Apparently.... healthy bogs, like the restored areas of Glasson Moss, contain more than 95% water and store more climate change-causing carbon than an equivalent area of rain forest.  The things you learn on the internet!  Mind you there's lots of dried up bog there at the moment with the lack of rain.  A collage in extras.
