Plumber’s mate

Longer run yesterday. And enjoyed the sun. Today was back to working on my non-working Monday.

Paint arrived so alternated between painting the remaining Mog wheels and replacing the rotten floorboards on the top floor. And shouting at Ministers on the radio. Could they manage comms any worse if they tried? Yesterday we had the vague three line slogan. Then Boris being vague. Today Raab was contradicting Boris - sometimes to ‘clarify’ and others because he didn’t understand the advice himself. And, eventually, the more detailed guidance arrived. Still not helpfully. The confusion will mean more deaths. And the policy of sending lower-paid people back to work (relying on good old, British common sense to fill the gaps in the guidance) will kill more people.

Meanwhile, the press gives him an easy ride. This can’t go on. Can it?
