Reef Desina

Despite the look of summer with the bright blue sky there was a bitterly cold wind blowing which almost swept me off my feet while I took this. In recent months there have been some interesting shaped ships in the Forth and here at Leith is this brightly coloured ship called the Reef Desina. This recently built Multipurpose Offshore Vessel with her identical sister, the Reef Larissa, is used in deep or subsea work mainly for the oil and gas industry. Also just visible is a cargo boat, the Anna Marie and3 tug boats in the background and just out of the picture is a Research and Fishery Protection boat called the Hirta.
