Thank you for your kind comments over the last couple of days - Chris is now home and recuperating. He has 3 different types of eye-drops: steroid, antibiotic and one to paralyse his pupil, so that it doesn't contract/expand. And another oral antibiotic and plenty painkillers and and an eye-patch - photos to follow. Phew.

He will go back to hospital on Friday and then have another operation within the next couple of weeks - so he is pretty much out of action. I am exhausted and trying to be a very good nurse...
