Mono Monday: Week 329 .....
... High Key .... outside.
Shortly before lunch I stepped outside to the back deck to see what kind of high key photos I could get. Wouldn't you know that as soon as I went out there the sun would disappear behind the clouds!
But that didn't stop my from staying out there photographing the squirrels, chippies and birds. I ended up settling on this photo of one of my favorite summer birds ... the Gray Catbird. They run a close second only to hummingbirds, of course! We have only seen the hummingbirds on our security camera footage so I haven't been able to get any photos yet this year ... hopefully soon. I saw at least three catbirds in the yard this morning ... which means there are probably four or more as they would be paired off!
We had a great day out birding yesterday and I have a lot of photos that I need to process for a potential collage so I will be backblipping that at a later date ... maybe tomorrow. That said the following COVID-19 stats are a two day total.
Pennsylvania COVID-19 by the numbers (as of 12:00 PM today 5/11/20):
Positive cases in Pennsylvania - 57,154 * (an increase of 1,838)
Negative cases in Pennsylvania - 231,704
Number of deaths in Pennsylvania 3,731 - (an increase of 43)
Cases in Northampton County - 2,465 (160 deaths)
* Total case counts include confirmed and probable cases.
