Lockdown Day 48

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

I took Murphy out for a walk this morning. We haven’t been up the hill since the start of lockdown as it’s too busy but it was FREEZING (and very windy) so I decided to chance it. I was lucky - it was blissfully quiet.

At the risk of sounding like a tw@t, I had a moment of complete peace standing at the top, looking out over the city. I never cease to be amazed by the view

“It feels like the top of the world,” went through head.

And my reverie was RUDELY interrupted by The Carpenters loudly playing “Top of the World” inside my head.

Luckily there was no one to see me laughing at myself!
