At Obelisk Farm

A great ride this morning adding on a lane I hadn't been down for ages. Rounding a corner past the duck pond I spotted someone tidying up the vegetation. I asked if I could take a picture with him in it and we happily started a chat about photography and his print camera back in the day.

I thought he was the farmer but he was in the house because he is over 80. Jerry here is a stalwart maintainance man who had a super job today pottering around next to the water. Thanks to humour his suggestions as to how I might improve the composition of the shot by having him to one side and not in the centre,
